We had a nice and quiet celebration on the 4th of July. The 108 degree weather kept us inside! We opted to celebrate inside after braving the heat long enough to grill some nice steaks and baking some potatoes. Chad was home for the weekend from Carolina Creek Christian Camp....and Brandon Hill joined us for dinner. Later in the evening, both boys fought the crowd (and heat - it was still 98 degrees at 9:30pm!) and they went to the San Marcos River to watch the fireworks. Donato & I decided to stay in the cool house and watch a movie. :o)Overall, we had a nice, quiet, happy and cool day!
